Willi’s Wine Bar is OPEN in its new location:  1415 Town & Country Drive, Santa Rosa, CA.

“We simply refused to let the fire be the end of Willi’s,” said Terri Stark, who vowed to preserve everything that people loved about the original Willi’s. “On opening night, we picked up where we left off on October 8, 2017 by bringing back favorite menu items with a few new dishes.”

In addition to familiar food and wine offerings, customers returning to the new Willi’s will find many familiar faces among the wait staff, all of whom were offered jobs at other Stark Reality restaurants and were invited to reclaim their positions at the new location.

The new location at Town & Country Center has a long culinary tradition and has been home to other storied restaurants over the years, including The Italian Affair, Lisa Hemenway’s Bistro, and Chef Randy Lewis’ Popina and Seven-0-Seven. Tucked into in a small, neighborhood marketplace that includes the Pacific Market specialty grocery store, Willi’s Wine Bar features an intimate dining room, a covered heated outdoor patio, and free parking.

This new incarnation of Willi’s Wine Bar was designed by Nate Bisbee of Bisbee Architecture + Design in Santa Rosa, with interior décor designed by Terri Stark. The overall design of the restaurant leans toward mid-century modern with a neighborhood feel, and seeks to recreate Willi’s laid-back ambience with rich wood accents, private nooks, and an airy wine bar where superb local and imported wines are available by the bottle, glass, and in two-ounce tastes. The restaurant seats 75-80 inside, 30-35 outside.

Willi’s Wine Bar once again features its signature international small plates, some surprisingly creative and others comfortingly familiar. Loyal patrons will recognize Chef Mark Stark’s Tunisian Roasted Carrots, Moroccan-Style Barbecued Lamb Chops, and Ahi Tuna Tartare. As is customary at all Stark Reality locations, Chef Stark will occasionally introduce new offerings at Willi’s along with the many crowd-pleasers on the menu.
